Problems with Flashcom, a national DSL service provider

This report from an angry ex-employee of Flashcom is rather revealing:

I used to work at flashcom. You are correct I wouldnt
send people I hate to get service from them. They
treat they're employees as bad as they're customers.
Trust me I know I'm still waiting for money they owe
me(which I will most likley never see). I will admit
alot of the installation problems are the phone
companies fault not Flashcom. But they love to take
your cash ( or have you work for for nothing so they
keep the cash). I tried to collect the money they owe
me about 200.00 for 5 months of they time I worked for
them. My boss said "I sent the paper work in" for all
five months. I havent been there for a while and still
have not seen a dime of the 200.00. Small claims court
seems to be the only way to get money back from
Flashcom.

PEOPLE TAKE IT FROM A MAN THAT WORKED THERE

DONT ORDER FROM FLASHCOM THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE
BUT THEMSELVES.

THE REGULAR EMPLOYEES (SALES AND CUSTOMER CARE) DO ALL
THEY CAN SO DONT BE TO HARD ON THEM THEY GET SHIT ON
ENOUGH BY THEY'RE OWN COMPANY.

I'm just sick of the bull. I felt so bad everytime a
customer would call because there was nothing that a
regular employee could really do for them. People
would call us because they got sick of waiting for
over an hour for tech support...etc.
Well I am glad you got your money back....Alot are
still fighting.
I dont know who makes the polices but you are right
they do suck! To say the least. Well godd luck to all
that dare to go the flashcom way. Now Covad Northpoint
are good CLEC's other companies use them and I would
be more then happy to work with them just not
Flashcom.
